No Carbs Diet Success

This diet has remained in top and it is based on a low carbohydrate intake and the increased consumption of protein. It is very successful for two reasons. First, because it gives spectacular results. Many who have tried it have lost a significant number of kilograms. Secondly, because it is based on foods that many of us like: cheese, yogurt, sour cream, beef and fish.

The recipe is simple: we give up carbohydrates, and eat proteins in exchange.

The theory this diet is based on claims that the intake of carbohydrates (from bread, potatoes, pasta, rice) causes the body the increasing production of insulin and this being a hormone that regulates metabolism, encourages, in return, fat deposit.

The diet requires the exclusion of all carbohydrates (including those found in fruits and vegetables) to determine the body to burn fat. As a car needs gasoline, our body needs fuel, and carbohydrates are the real fuel for the body. So, in their absence, Torker unicycle the body will burn fat.

This diet also has disadvantages. The elimination of carbohydrates causes fatigue and nervousness. In addition, many foods are rich in protein and high in saturated fat, which can increase cholesterol and thus the risk of heart disease and stroke.

When you want to get off a few pounds, just follow the diet for two or three weeks. Excluding the carbohydrates for a long-term is not healthy for your system. If you plan to keep this diet for long, follow these tips to be sure that you continue to feed healthy:

- eat at least one daily meal consisting of foods rich in carbohydrates and fiber (rye or graham bread, rice, pasta)
- drink at least 2 liters of water throughout the day
- eat at least three servings of fruit and two servings of vegetables daily
- there are no restrictions on the quantity of meat, cheese and eggs you can eat, but try to choose lean meats and low-fat dairy.
